Neighbors Helping Neighbors: Our First Dive-In Movie Night at Camelot Pool

This summer, McIlvaine Home Team hosted our first-ever Dive-In Movie Night at Camelot Pool in Annandale—an evening built around something we care a lot about: bringing people together and giving back to the community we call home.

Families gathered at the pool for swimming, popcorn, concessions, and The Sandlot on the big screen. It was a great summer night, but the best part was what our community did together.

Throughout the evening, we collected donations for the Camelot Food Pantry, which helps provide food for kids and families in need in our local community.

The response was incredible.

The generous families of the Camelot Pool and Camelot Elementary School communities donated $500. McIlvaine Home Team matched those donations dollar for dollar, bringing the total raised to $1,000 for the Camelot Food Pantry.

As someone who has lived in Northern Virginia for years and has been part of the Camelot Pool community, this one meant a lot to me personally. Real estate may be what I do for a living, but being connected to the people and neighborhoods I serve has always been a much bigger part of McIlvaine Home Team.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, donated, helped behind the scenes, or simply spent the evening with us. You made our first Dive-In Movie Night a success—and helped take care of families right here in our own backyard.

We’re already looking forward to finding more ways to bring our community together.
